PTPHCBOTW

We will start a new PTP deal today. It will continue as long as we remember or until we run out of pics to post.

The new deal will be to highlight hot chick bowlers. So here goes nothing.

She may become the first PTP Girl (ala St. Pauli Girl).

Rundown of the WNEB Preseason Gathering

From The Captain's Notes:

It was an eventful night at the annual WNEB pre-season meeting. Part Time was represented by BP, K-Gun, and Myself. Pitchers of beer have went up from $6 to $7.50 a pitcher. There is one exception however. Natty Light is now available and selling for $6. A motion was passed and Natty LIght is now the official beer of Part Time.

Other notes of interest:
-First 3 weeks you use last years average.

-A couple of WNEB favorites might be out for a while, Jim Buchner has colon cancer, didnt sound too goo. Uncle Cliff had heart surgery, he might be available, i'm not sure if it was open heart or just the "up and in" that Gunner was talking about, we'll see.

-Russ will be out 5-6 weeks, he is removing Granholms mole.

-There is a new background on the lanes (very bright and very blue and yellow and orange) and new effects on the monitors. One includes a scary chick with a tattoo on her eyelid and another shows a chick jumping out of an airplane.

-We each rolled 3 games. I had a 188,186, and 198, already in midseason form except for the fact that i am sore this morning and was sweating a lot.

-Oh, did i mention that we start NEXT WEEK?! yeah, no one could believe that.

-The Natty LIght F-ed me up, i was buzzed after about 3 glasses and i barely had a headache this morning.

2008-09 Season Right Around the Corner...

If I'm not mistaken, PTP will begin another attempt at dethroning Nutt Farms at the end of this month. It seems like the banquet for last season just concluded, but I think we are all ready to dust the balls off and lower our averages on a weekly basis. Helly are you going to throw that '07 recap together or what? That should get all of us back up to speed.

More from the Champs

Here is the new & improved team picture, including non-competing team members Beeb & Flem.

Eerily enough, this augmented photo is very representative of how the day went.

Team Fenian's = Domination

Team Fenian's, the 5K Speed Champions of the River Bank Run, were recognized last night with several Fed Ex packages at the home of team captain and hernia disinflicted J---n H----n.

The first contained the team trophy, a glorious etched glass plaque with a handsome wooden stand.

The second contained team leader & non-slowpoke M---a H----n's age group championship medal.

And the third contained team championship medals, 10 in all.

Seeing as there were 6 competing team members and 2 honorary team members, Beebe & Flem, that leaves 2 medals up for grabs.

What will be done with these extraneous medals is up for discussion. Possible uses include: awards for an arm wrestling contest, date & site TBD; throwing them off the train tressel; selling them for mad profits on ebay; putting them on display in the ORAL HOF; and inclusion in a time capsule.

Also a ridiculously elaborate medal presentation ceremony will be held, hopefully this weekend, or possibly later in June, and much beer will be consumed.

Yes, this is how I picture you guys talking to me when you send out a ChainMail in the 'all caps' format.

You know who you are...
